Metal Gear makes its debut on MSX2 in Japan and Europe (1987).

MGS1 was the most unprecedented, MGS2 seemed the most revolutionary, MGS3 had the tightest/most effective story, MGS4 was the most ambitious, Peace Walker was massively under-rated and deserves to be played to completion by any fan of the series.

MGS3 cause its the one i've put the most hours in to, 1 comes in 2nd, then 4 then 2. That's not saying 2 is bad, i loved it, but MGS3 is still the best.

Voted MGS 2 because it's the only game in the series where I almost ***** myself when the AI freaked. MGS 3 & MGS PSX has very memorable parts and is a better games than the 2nd but because of the above 2nd wins.

Tough choice...I'll go with MGS3 because I know that game inside out
