I saw this last night and i just sat in disbelief at her terrible answers which amount too "i wont tell you because i dont want too". She didnt even have the flare to get around questions, a flare which we associate with MPs trying to hide truths. Awful, she should be demoted whatever her academic qualification. clearlythey dont translate into good PR!

I would be so annoyed if I was Chloe Smith - to be put on a programme THAT unprepared... It seems obvious she didn't know the details but just the headlines. She was afraid to answer simple questions with a yes or no because she had not been briefed in that area. There will be a major de-briefing today, I reckon.
Great interview, though - shows the Government up as reactionary rather than proactive.
