A lot of people don't understand that these kind of dance numbers are choreographed in a way so that the singer isn't moving that much at all. Watch it back. Everyone around her is very energetic. She is energetic only during the instrumental bit. When she sings her upper body is almost still, her lower body is doing very simple steps. Also the microphone usually has some kind of sound effect, like compression and a reverb with makes the vocal sound smoother. Adam_Gallon-Sma Popstars have mimed for decades. Everyone on shows like TOTP used to mime. The Beatles did, all the big names. It's not like it's not her voice on the song. Far more important things to get your knickers in a twist about. And people seem to forget she got into the business after the UK public heard her sing live and voted her through first on POPSTARS.
