xman fan here - what drew me to the Xmen - many, many years ago........ teenagers, all of a sudden at the age of puberty, start to feel different, react differently, and have a massive rush of feelings & things they cannot control. They feel different, wrong, they do not fit in. They feel there is something wrong, they are not right.

    Do the math.

People like me, an Xman, have been fighting attitudes like One Million Moms for many years. If I dealt with my family, my close friends & my home town - this group of busy bodies, who do not get the 'being different' thing of us Xmen - need to stick to poisoning the minds of their off spring.

Gay people actually read comics, watch films, pay taxes & take part in society - why shouldn't we have gay characters appearing in comics / books / films?

Or would people prefer it if we had the Mutant Registrtation Act? Senator Kelly, Graydon Creed? We could get The Sentinels to hunt us out & even go as far as having Apocalypse - who represents extreme right wing thinking, his abuse of power & ability to change to his own needs.

If you don't like the idea of a same sex marriage - do not buy it.

    Believe me - many will.

Oh no we must not have gay people in the media people will start to think it's acceptable. And if there in comics a child might ask there parent what it's about. No keep it hidden and just keep quiet and if it does come up say how unnatural it is. For gods sake lol.

"Can you imagine little boys saying, 'I want a boyfriend or husband like X-Men?' This is ridiculous! Why do adult gay men need comic superheroes as role models? They don't but do want to indoctrinate [sic] impressionable young minds by placing these gay characters on pedestals in a positive light."

Sometimes the word "idiots" just isn't big enough.
