    Leon Jessop true but it depends. i never would have thought alexandra's debut would sound like it did, I hope melanie has a similar style. overcome-esque etc as it would work well for her, keeps on trend but shows off her pipes in a good way.

    Isaac Eloi True. It's too early to call really. But the past has taught us to be a bit pessimistic when winners say these things. You can't really be surprised by this.

    Leon Jessop well melanie has to crack the US market so it will appeal to trends. Leona says a lot but i dont think she knows what to do. also syco are holding her back. LA Reid will know he cant let $5m disappear, thats a LOT of money to lose.

    Isaac Eloi Leona Lewis said the same thing. Especially this year when she was saying she would work on different material, a couple of months later we got Hurt; an EP entirely of ballad-styled covers :/
    She could be different and she is a different person, but the past and other stars similar to her have taught us not to expect so much when people claim such things.
