    The original PlayStation controllers didn't have analogue sticks. They released an analogue controller for flight sims in '96, the same year as the release of the N64. The PlayStation dual analogue stick was released in 1997 and replaced the older Sony pads.

    I may be wrong but I am sure the original Playstation had an analogue stick long before the N64.
