'Punisher War Zone' returns in October

Punisher War Zone will return in October.

Marvel Comics has revealed the title behind its 'This is war' teasers, which have been released throughout the week.



Another teaser released also shows Spider-Man being held at gunpoint.

Previous images featured Thor's broken hammer, Wolverine's hand wreathed in flames, Captain America's shield spattered with blood and bullet holes marking Iron Man's helmet.

A creative team is yet to be revealed for the title. The relation of Punisher War Zone to Greg Rucka and Marco Chechetto's current ongoing Punisher also remains a mystery.

Details of Punisher War Zone are due to be announced at the Amazing Spider-Man panel on Sunday, July 15 at 12.30pm at San Diego Comic-Con International.
