George Takei to guest star in 'Kevin Keller'

Kevin Keller is to feature a guest appearance by George Takei.

The Star Trek actor will make a guest appearance in issue #6 of the Archie Comics title, Buzzfeed has confirmed.



Takei agreed to appear in the series after meeting with writer and artist Dan Parent, a life-long fan of his, during a comic convention.

Kevin Keller, Archie Comics' first openly-gay character, first appeared in Veronica #202 in September 2010. He was married off in Life With Archie #16 before being given his own series.

Archie Comics recently announced plans to reprint Life With Archie #16 for this year's Comic-Con International.

Kevin Keller #6 debuts in October.
