"There's no easy way to say it… the Borg are back. The cubes, the Queen, Locutus, and their intractable stance on resistance have reared their ugly heads once again to jeopardize the fate of our Galaxy," said IDW.
"With all evil, though, must come good, and who better to thwart the Borg's steely agenda than Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise?"
Braga was a producer on TNG and executive producer for Voyager and Enterprise. He also wrote for those series, as well as contributing to the films Generations and First Contact.
Matalas was a production associate on Enterprise and wrote several episodes of the show.
The TNG crew recently teamed up with the cast of Doctor Who for a crossover miniseries.
Star Trek: The Next Generation - Hive #1 will debut in September, marking the show's 25th anniversary.

I still have faith in Braga. Rick Berman, no so much. I believe Braga can still do justice with Star Trek. I just wish it was a REAL mini-series for television or even a straight to video. I would like to see what the old gang is up to..

If someones gonna write a trek comic it should be Manny Coto not Brannon 'Franchise Killer' Braga.

I dunno. I don't want to have to deal with yet another piece of post-Nemesis canon when the expanded universe books have been excellent. The Borg War, the Destiny Trilogy, the Typhon Pact stuff that's currently going on. Base comics on that. Or continue the story of DS9.

I loved how Voyager expanded upon the Borg legend in the same way TNG did with the Klingons.
