Catwoman #0's cover illustration has been criticised by cartoonist Faith Erin Hicks. The Demonology 101 creator hit out at Guillem March's racy illustration on Twitter, branding it offensive.
"I don't even care if that drawing is official or whatever, I can't believe someone drew it and thought it was okay to show people. People can see that drawing! People with eyes," she wrote.
"Why do I even fight so hard to make my art look good when someone else drew that? As a person with eyes, I am a little offended."
Fellow webcomic artist Kate Beaton echoed Hicks's sentiments, poking fun at the drawing with a series of sketches posted over on her Twitter account.
DC Comics' Catwoman has stirred up controversy in the past by depicting a sex scene between the title character and Batman in issue #1.

I don't see the problem with it. DC have been over sensitive to criticism.

Guillem March is the worst thing that ever happened to Catwoman, I just can't read it anymore due to his awful artwork.

Not seeing what is wrong with this to be honest. It may exaggerate certain features but let's face it, when haven't they done this, to both men and women. I think people are forgetting that it's not real, it's fantasy and fantasy is meant to be a little exaggerated.

It's not offensive. It's just not very good. Unless that's what she mean by offensive. Which given the context I'm actually thinking is likely. That she didn't find the content offensive but rather that DC would pay for something that dodgy while she works hard and does some good work.
That's how I'd read it at least
