'Avengers Vs X-Men' preorders exceed 'Civil War', says report

previously reported that the crossover event's debut was approaching the 200,000 advance sales mark, but now claims the title has exceeded the milestone.
Marvel has been backing Avengers Vs X-Men
with a high profile marketing campaign, spanning television, radio and online media. The publisher recently extended the first issue's final order cut-off date to allow retailers to stock up.Avengers vs X-Men
, a 12-issue bi-weekly series, sees the super-powered teams come to blows following the return of the Phoenix entity. A companion miniseries titled AvX will showcase the event's individual battles.
Top writers Brian Michael Bendis
