Marvel has been backing Avengers Vs X-Men with a high profile marketing campaign, spanning television, radio and online media. The publisher recently extended the first issue's final order cut-off date to allow retailers to stock up.
Avengers vs X-Men, a 12-issue bi-weekly series, sees the super-powered teams come to blows following the return of the Phoenix entity. A companion miniseries titled AvX will showcase the event's individual battles.
Top writers Brian Michael Bendis, Jason Aaron, Ed Brubaker, Jonathan Hickman and Matt Fraction will work on the series, along with artists Frank Cho, John Romita Jr, Olivier Coipel and Adam Kubert.
Avengers vs. X-Men #1 will debut on April 3.

George Hetherington : not to mention the good work done by Kieron Gillen, Uncanny side ? DC universe sucked so bad they had to reboot a rebooted universe.
