Lobdell to take over 'major DC title'

Rumours that Scott Lobdell is to take over writing duties on a major DC title have emerged.

According to Bleeding Cool, DC editor-in-chief Bob Harras is recruiting the acclaimed X-Men scribe to helm an unnamed series.

Lobdell is best known for his Marvel contributions in the 1990s, having penned some of the bestselling issues of Uncanny X-Men. His recent ventures include The Scourge for Aspen Comics and The Butler for Image.

DC Comics is yet to confirm any upcoming projects with Lobdell.
