Lansdale, Kieth do '30 Days of Night'

IDW Publishing has unveiled a new 30 Days of Night series from Joe R. Lansdale and Sam Kieth.

The unnamed title was announced in a brief statement on the publisher's Formspring account, reports Robot 6. It will be the 13th title to spin out of Steve Niles and Ben Templesmith's original 2002 series.

The series will begin in spring 2011 following the conclusion of the current X-Files/30 Days of Night crossover, which is being published by WildStorm.

Lansdale is best known for his 'Hap and Leonard' series of mystery novels, and has also written comics including Jonah Hex: Riders of the Worm and Such, Conan and the Songs of the Dead and Pigeons from Hell.

Kieth has illustrated series including The Maxx and Arkham Asylum: Madness. He is currently providing covers for X-Files/30 Days of Night.
