Big Brother's Deana lacks Shilpa's charisma, says Shetty ex-publicist

Big Brother's Deana Uppa does not have the charisma of former winner Shilpa Shetty, an ex-employee of Shetty's has suggested.Speaking to Digital Spy, the Bollywood star's former publicist Dale Bhagwagar said that Deana lacks "the Shilpa effect".

"I understand that many Asians as well as Britons are expecting Deana Uppal to be the next Shilpa Shetty, but they are two different personalities," said Bhagwagar.
"Shilpa was an epitome of goodness and a great forgiver. At the same time, she was a righteous fighter and a survivor beyond comparison."
The PR guru said that it would be difficult for Deana to do as well in the programme as his celebrity client.
"Considering the volatile situation most housemates face in Big Brother, it will be an extremely uphill task for Deana to match that charisma and what I may take the liberty to term as 'the Shilpa effect'," he added.
Bhagwagar went on to add that the only parallels that exist between Deana and Shetty are in the controversies that surround them.
"Conor McIntyre ranted to his fellow housemates about Deana after she failed to finish eating her chosen dish in the 'Confusing Cusine' task.
"If you remember, Jade's argument with Shilpa too began over food, when Jade Goody refused to eat the chicken Shilpa had made, and both resulted in a huge amount of complaints to Ofcom," he explained.
What happened to Shilpa was horrible and yes she was a victim of racism, Deena isn't. She also seems to be holding her own and she isn't completely isolated in the house, she gets along with a few people in there. I don't think she has Shilpa's charisma but she isn't trying to become the next Shilpa so I don't see why he felt the need to comment.

I was probably one of a very few who while seeing she did not deserve what happened to her by the three girls in there still could not like her in the end. I felt she looked down on a lot of them but mainly Jade's mum before it all kick off and while a lot of viewers didn't like Jackie (I think that's her name), I felt Shilpa showed her disdain when ever she was around her. She seems to like Jermaine cos he IS a Jackson but the others she regarded with less enthusiasm. I never warmed to her before it all happened and it didn't change my view of her despite not liking what she had to go through in the house.

well i really like deana and care not what this idiot is saying to get his name in the press i actually think deana will win and do really well outside the house i like her better than josie gibbon that ape needs to go home
