's television show could face legal action following allegations from a doctor.
Orthopedic surgeon Kamal Khurana's wife appeared on Satyameva Jayate
, claiming that the doctor had pressured her to abort twin girls.
Khurana told Hindustan Times
: "Nobody ever contacted me or my family to verify facts. The allegations levelled against us do not even match statements submitted to the court.
"The trouble began when she forcefully made me sign an adoption deed to hand over my younger daughter to her elder sister, who is suffering from breast cancer. A Directorate of Health Services report states that 'no sex determination' was ever conducted."
Khurana has been fired by his employers but the production company behind Satyameva Jayate
has said that this is because he failed to disclose his wife's divorce case against him.
The reality documentary drama received over 100,000 calls from the public on its first broadcast
Host Khan is planning to turn the weekly show into a regular radio programme which also discusses controversial topical issues
