Dr Chris Brown is believed to be in talks for his own US television show.

The Australian television veterinarian, who is currently starring in Bondi Vet, reportedly flew to the States last week for follow-up meetings with bosses at Discovery and Animal Planet about a new series.

According to The Daily Telegraph, the new programme will be an adapted version of his Channel Ten series.

During his visit to Los Angeles, Brown also attended the stag night for "an old uni mate" who is getting married in the next few weeks.

Brown was recently romantically linked to entertainment reporter Kylie Speers, who used to date actor Tom Williams. The couple were believed to have gone on a string of dates together, but Speers then said: "[Chris] is just a friend, we've known each other a long time."

Brown reportedly split from actress Zoe Ventoura last year, although she had described him as a "very supportive" boyfriend shortly before. The Packed to the Rafters star is now rumoured to be dating Dancing with the Stars host and former Neighbours star Daniel MacPherson. Ironically, MacPherson's ex-girlfriend Kristi Townley was romantically linked to Williams late last year.
